Project General Manager (Reserve) – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Project General Manager (Reserve) will lead the Saudi project company through both construction and operational phases, ensuring the achievement of the group’s annual targets. This senior position requires full accountability for overall company performance and long‑term on‑site presence in Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the project company, covering construction and operational phases.
• Report regularly to group headquarters on operational objectives, influencing factors, solutions, and team development.
• Translate annual operational targets into departmental goals and drive results across the organization.
• Chair company management meetings, allocate resources rationally, and coordinate cross‑departmental work.
• Optimize resource allocation to continuously reduce operational costs.
• Ensure safe production and operations with zero tolerance for major safety incidents.
• Maintain effective communication with local partners, owners, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Identify and develop resources to expand business and improve performance.
• Uphold the group’s business philosophy, core values, and management systems to foster a positive corporate culture.
• Develop professional capabilities of subordinate teams and build a talent pipeline.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by group headquarters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, any discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of public‑utility operations management experience, preferably with engineering project construction background.
• At least 2 years of overall management experience on overseas projects.
• High moral character, proactive mindset, and strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in English as a working language and basic computer literacy.
• Willingness to be stationed overseas on a long‑term basis.
