Project Management Office (PMO) Manager

About the role

The PMO Manager will establish, develop, and lead the Project Management Office to ensure that projects and programs are delivered in line with the organization’s strategic objectives. This senior position requires strong expertise in governance, portfolio management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the PMO framework, methodologies, templates and best practices.
• Establish governance processes, define KPIs and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and alignment with corporate strategy.
• Manage the project portfolio, prioritize initiatives, allocate resources and control budgets.
• Oversee program and project execution, risk mitigation, issue escalation and benefits realization.
• Provide guidance, tools and coaching to project managers, ensuring consistent use of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches.
• Lead corporate excellence initiatives, integrate Lean, Six Sigma and other improvement methods.
• Design and execute change‑management strategies, engage stakeholders and act as the central point for performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2; Lean/Six Sigma and Agile certifications are desirable.
• 6+ years of project/program management experience, including 3‑5 years in a PMO or managerial role.
• Proven track record of establishing and leading PMOs and supporting organizational transformation.
