Project Manager – Energy Sector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee energy sector projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
• Assemble and lead project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Oversee procurement processes for project materials and services.
• Conduct post‑project evaluations to capture lessons learned and best practices.
• Prepare and present project reports, presentations, and documentation to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive project management experience, preferably in energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
