Project Manager - Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

The Project Manager leads the implementation of small to large projects, working with cross-functional teams and internal and external stakeholders. The role uses the department's tools and processes to design, deploy and deliver projects through their full lifecycles, with a focus on achieving intended benefits and operational performance goals. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute projects under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager and the Project Delivery Lead Management, delivering them on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, and monitor progress, issues, risks and changes.
• Work with the Director Project Delivery Lead Management to define milestones, objectives and deliverables, and set up a framework for monitoring and reporting project performance.
• Collaborate with project team members to improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness, and coordinate with departments within the Centre of Excellence (COE).
• Implement quality assurance processes, conduct regular project audits, and prepare contingency and mitigation plans for risks and changes.
• Allocate and manage project resources (personnel, budget, equipment) and maintain project documentation such as plans, progress reports, logs and lessons learned.
• Report regularly to the Director Project Delivery Lead Management, the Chief Operational Excellence Officer and other stakeholders, recommend team training, and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
• PMP or Prince2 certification is required.
• 7+ years of experience in project management or a related field, preferably in supply chain, including planning, execution, delivery and reporting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written business English.
• Experience working with leadership and senior stakeholders and coordinating across cross-functional teams.
• Experience in logistics and supply chain projects is preferred.

Required skills

• PMP or Prince2 certification.
• Experience with PMP-style project controls, Prince2, risk and change management, or structured reporting and governance.
