Project Manager – Private Banking

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead private banking initiatives, overseeing projects from initiation through successful closure while ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage private banking projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, compliance, and external vendors to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Manage end‑to‑end implementation of private banking products, services, and technology solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Monitor progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery and quality standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, escalating when necessary.
• Establish and track project KPIs, delivery metrics, and SLAs, providing regular status reports to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to banking governance, risk management, compliance, and internal control requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder workshops.
• Drive continuous improvement by applying project management best practices and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience in the banking sector.
• Proven experience delivering projects in private banking, wealth management, or related financial services.
• Strong understanding of banking governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
