Pump Quality & HSE Engineer – Yanbu QRC

About the role

The Pump Quality & HSE Engineer supports and coordinates quality assurance, inspection, health, safety and environmental activities within the Pump QRC. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the role ensures compliance with drawings, procedures, specifications, statutory requirements and customer expectations while promoting a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform documented inspections to verify conformance of parts, repairs and assemblies to drawings, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and project quality plan in line with customer and Flowserve requirements.
• Define, coordinate and control project quality documentation for repairs, inspections and final release.
• Conduct dimensional, visual, painting and welding inspections according to applicable procedures.
• Review and verify qualifications of suppliers, welders and NDE personnel.
• Approve supplier manufacturing and testing documents and support third‑party inspection approvals.
• Prepare test and inspection requirements, including ITPs and procurement specifications.
• Document non‑conforming material, process NCRs and support corrective actions.
• Assist internal quality audits, root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support implementation of site HSE procedures, permit‑to‑work compliance and risk control measures.

Required profile

• Direct experience in pump OEM/QRC environments.
• Hands‑on technical expertise in quality assurance and site safety.
• Ability to work independently and report to the Quality Manager.
• Familiarity with statutory and customer‑specific quality standards.
