Purchase Manager – Hotel Procurement (Saudi National)

About the role

The Purchase Manager will lead the procurement function for Sofitel Riyadh Hotel & Convention Center, ensuring that all goods and services required for hotel operations are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in line with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with operational needs and annual budgets.
• Manage procurement of F&B supplies, housekeeping materials, engineering items, guest supplies, operating equipment and general consumables.
• Review purchase requisitions, secure approvals, and guarantee timely availability of materials.
• Negotiate with approved suppliers, evaluate vendors, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Control inventory levels to balance stock availability with minimal carrying costs.
• Monitor procurement expenses, drive cost‑saving initiatives and meet budget targets.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, legal requirements and ethical standards.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance and cost analysis for management.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• 4‑10 years of experience in hotel purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain management, preferably within a reputable hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of hotel procurement processes, vendor management and cost control.
• Good understanding of F&B procurement, quality standards and market sourcing.
