Purchasing Manager – Saudi National Required

About the role

As the Purchasing Manager for SLS The Red Sea, you will oversee all procurement activities that support the hotel’s luxury operations. Working closely with finance and department heads, you will ensure that every product and service purchased meets the brand’s high standards of quality, value, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hotel’s purchasing and procurement processes in line with operational needs and budgetary constraints.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with financial and operational objectives.
• Collaborate with department heads to forecast purchasing requirements and guarantee timely delivery of goods.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that meet SLS quality and service standards.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and commercial agreements with vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, reliability, and compliance.
• Review and manage purchase orders, contracts, quotations, and vendor documentation.
• Track procurement spend and identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels based on operational forecasts.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and local regulations.
• Manage supply‑chain risks such as shortages, delays, or performance issues.
• Support sustainable and responsible sourcing initiatives where feasible.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team.

Required profile

• Saudi national with extensive experience in hotel or hospitality procurement.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and drive cost efficiencies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
