QA Engineer – Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The company seeks an experienced QA Engineer to lead quality assurance and control inspections for pressure vessels, storage tanks and heat exchangers on oil & gas and petrochemical projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves ensuring compliance with ASME, API, Aramco and other relevant standards while coordinating with clients, vendors and third‑party inspectors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise QA/QC inspections for pressure equipment, reviewing and approving WPS, PQRs and welder qualifications.
• Monitor NDT activities (UT, PT, RT, MT, VT) and manage outsourced fabrication and inspection services.
• Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, final quality dossiers and handle NCRs, corrective actions and technical clarifications.
• Interface with clients for hold points, witness points, DCL submissions and testing coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of industrial experience, with at least 6 years in QA/QC and 4 years in oil & gas projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and certifications CWI or CSWIP, ASNT Level II in NDT.
• Proven ability to manage quality documentation and lead multidisciplinary teams.

• ASME, API and AWS codes, Aramco standards.
• Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), welder qualification processes.
• Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR), corrective action management.
