Quality Inspector – Al Kharj

About the role

The Quality Inspector will implement the Quality Control function within Almarai's Site Quality department, ensuring Good Laboratory Practices are followed to deliver accurate test results that support product acceptance, release or rejection.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Quality Control function within the Site Quality department.
• Ensure Good Laboratory Practices are consistently followed.
• Generate timely and accurate test results for raw materials, in‑process and finished products.
• Support decisions to accept, release or reject products for internal and external customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science or a related scientific field.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Minimum three years of experience in a food testing laboratory.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and laboratory quality management systems.
• Understanding of analytical method validation, verification and quality control practices.
• Familiarity with sample preparation techniques and instrument performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements concerning contaminants and residues.
