Quality Operations Manager

About the role

The Quality Operations Manager will lead the implementation of an integrated management system covering food safety, quality, and hygiene across downstream operations. The role aims to embed a quality mindset, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily performance review meetings and resolve non‑conformities with Quality Engineers.
• Organise and lead Problem‑Solving Groups (PSG) to address quality issues using PDCA methodology.
• Manage consumer complaints, track resolution rates, and analyse trends to recommend improvements.
• Validate quality aspects of projects, ensuring implementation of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSI, sampling plans, and online quality checks.
• Develop and execute the Neptune/Triton sanitation audit plan and oversee closure of findings.
• Support downstream sites (branches, warehouses, GCC) in meeting quality requirements.
• Promote risk assessment, built‑in quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide coaching and training to front‑line managers and quality engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading integrated quality and food‑safety management systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to drive cross‑functional improvement projects.
• Excellent communication and people‑management abilities, with experience coaching teams.
• Knowledge of international standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000 and FSI.
