Quality Technician

About the role

The Quality Technician ensures that raw materials, components, maintenance work, vehicles and finished products meet technical, quality, safety and industry specifications. The role supports QHSE activities through inspections, audits, non‑conformance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test raw materials, in‑process components, tools, maintenance work and finished products for compliance with specifications.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits and workplace safety inspections.
• Identify, document and report defects, non‑conformances and unsafe conditions.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and support corrective‑action implementation.
• Maintain accurate quality, inspection, audit and QHSE records.
• Support incident and near‑miss reporting and apply basic risk‑assessment principles.
• Liaise with suppliers and external partners to resolve quality issues.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or Technical Diploma in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemistry or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Quality Management Systems in an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Basic understanding of risk assessment, hazard identification and incident reporting.
• Good written and spoken English and strong attention to detail.
