Quantity Surveying Engineer

About the role

The Quantity Surveying Engineer will manage quantity take‑offs, measurement, cost estimation and commercial documentation for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and supporting contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate quantity take‑offs from drawings, specifications and BOQ documents.
• Measure executed works for interim payments, subcontractor evaluations and commercial reporting.
• Support tender preparation, cost estimation, pricing inputs and commercial comparisons.
• Review technical and commercial documents to identify measurement gaps, scope risks and pricing assumptions.
• Assist contract administration through BOQ analysis, variation measurement and billing documentation.
• Prepare and review payment certification documents and coordinate with site, planning, cost control and finance teams.
• Evaluate variation orders and claims from a quantity and measurement perspective.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimating or related construction engineering roles.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Proven ability to deliver tasks on schedule, report deviations and solve operational problems.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality and compliance standards.
