Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer

About the role

Double Marks is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Control Engineer to join our team for a major Data Center project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and will be responsible for quantity surveying, cost control, progress measurement, variations, and commercial tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs for civil and structural works, including excavation, concrete, reinforcement and formwork.
• Establish and maintain project cost tracking, reporting budget, commitments, actual costs and forecast to complete.
• Prepare progress measurements, payment applications and review subcontractor quantities.
• Prepare commercial comparisons for RFQs, procurement and evaluate variations/change orders.
• Reconcile BOQ quantities against drawings and site measurements.
• Monitor unit costs, project expenditure and produce cost reports and cash‑flow forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QS/Cost Control experience, preferably on civil and reinforced‑concrete projects.
• Strong commercial and analytical abilities, with experience in data‑center or large‑scale construction.
• Saudi/GCC experience preferred and ability to mobilise on short notice.
