Rail Transport Planner – Metro Experience

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Rail Transport Planner to join our Transport Planning and Strategic Advisory Business Unit in the Middle East. The role involves delivering transport master‑plan assessments, traffic impact studies and multidisciplinary planning projects for public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to large‑scale transport master‑plan assessments, traffic impact studies and multi‑disciplinary planning projects.
• Perform junction analysis and support traffic impact assessments, including trip generation and parking assessments.
• Prepare detailed reports on existing conditions, travel demand, and public transport network performance.
• Communicate findings effectively in English, both written and spoken, and work with limited supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in traffic engineering, transport planning or traffic modelling.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in traffic engineering and transport planning, with exposure to railway operations and maintenance projects.
• Experience working on projects in the Middle East is preferred.
• Proven ability to work within a team and manage project or financial aspects.
