About the role
The Rare Disease Account Manager will lead and manage key accounts across the Western region, guiding the patient journey from identification to treatment. Acting as the primary commercial lead, you will drive disease awareness, market access, and brand adoption for rare oncology‑neurology products.
Key responsibilities
- Own assigned accounts end‑to‑end, including mapping, stakeholder engagement, business planning, execution, and follow‑up.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with brand objectives and patient needs.
- Identify opportunities and barriers within each account and proactively drive solutions.
- Serve as brand ambassador to physicians, pharmacists, procurement, finance, and administration stakeholders.
- Support launch execution of rare disease products, communicating value propositions and differentiated positioning.
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, multidisciplinary teams, and healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate patient identification, referral pathways, and access to diagnosis and treatment.
Required profile
- Experience managing key accounts through the full patient journey in a rare disease or oncology setting.
- Proven ability to act as the primary commercial lead and drive market access initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across physicians, pharmacists, and hospital administration.
- Ability to develop strategic account plans and execute them effectively.
