About the role
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless experience from check‑in to check‑out. Working within Hilton’s hospitality standards, you will contribute to creating memorable stays while supporting front‑office operations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle guest check‑in and check‑out efficiently, following audit procedures.
- Respond to guest inquiries promptly, aiming for positive outcomes.
- Communicate guest feedback and inter‑departmental issues to the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors.
- Promote hotel services and facilities through up‑selling techniques to maximize occupancy.
- Process foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash in line with hotel credit policies.
- Adhere to security, fire, health, and safety regulations.
- Assist other departments as needed and support night‑team training.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a customer‑focused environment.
- High school certificate or equivalent.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and excellent grooming standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competent IT proficiency.
Required skills
- Knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, and promotions.
- Familiarity with front‑of‑house equipment and property management systems.
- Basic cash‑handling experience (advantageous).
