Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise‑wide automation solutions. The role works closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and DevOps teams to increase operational efficiency through automated processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, administer, and support Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform environments.
• Design, develop, and optimise Ansible playbooks, roles, templates, and collections.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, server configuration, patching, deployment and routine operational tasks.
• Integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools and ITSM solutions.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot failures and ensure high availability.
• Implement governance, security controls, compliance standards and best‑practice procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive enterprise automation initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs and knowledge repositories.
• Participate in production support, incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration or operations.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix environments and infrastructure automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Preferred certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation, RHCE, DevOps/Automation certifications.
