About the role

The Regional Marketing Leader, Surgery – META will shape and execute the commercial marketing strategy for BD’s surgery portfolio across Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. This senior position bridges global business units with regional markets, ensuring that innovation priorities and value propositions are translated into actionable growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive regional marketing strategy to achieve portfolio growth and market development.
• Lead launch excellence, clinical adoption initiatives, and distributor marketing effectiveness.
• Translate global strategies into regional plans while representing META insights to influence global decisions.
• Gather and communicate customer insights, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and unmet needs.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, influence innovation priorities, and support portfolio planning.
• Create, adapt, and govern commercial marketing content to ensure consistent, locally relevant engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of relevant marketing experience, preferably in medical technology or healthcare.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex regional initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with experience in budget and financial management.
