Regional Medical Advisor – Riyadh

About the role

This position is based in Riyadh and focuses on improving the lives of patients with cardiometabolic diseases. As a Regional Medical Advisor you will lead medical education, scientific dialogue and KOL engagement across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain up‑to‑date scientific knowledge of Novo Nordisk’s cardiometabolic portfolio.
• Develop and execute KOL‑tailored medical engagement plans that drive clinical practice improvements.
• Establish peer‑to‑peer relationships with key opinion leaders and emerging experts.
• Organise and present symposia, meetings and educational seminars for healthcare providers.
• Identify academic and professional collaboration opportunities and prepare project proposals.
• Support medico‑marketing strategy and local business plans while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
• Report safety information according to Novo Nordisk SOPs and adhere to business ethics.

Required profile

• Strong motivation to improve patient outcomes in cardiometabolic disease.
• Proven ability to build relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Experience in medical education, scientific communication and KOL engagement.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the medical field.
