Registered Nurse – Adult Stem Cell Transplant Unit

About the role

The Adult Stem Cell Transplant Unit in Riyadh is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and support the transplant team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing services to adult patients undergoing stem cell transplantation, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, monitor and document the clinical status of transplant patients throughout the pre‑, intra‑ and post‑transplant phases.
• Administer medications, blood products and supportive therapies according to physician orders and unit guidelines.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care, including liaising with physicians, pharmacists and laboratory staff.
• Educate patients and families on transplant procedures, post‑procedure care and self‑management.
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic health‑record system and ensure compliance with infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Nurse with a valid nursing license.
• Diploma in Nursing (Western standard) or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of recent clinical experience in a relevant specialty.
• Relevant certification required for the specific area of assignment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in clinical assessment and patient monitoring.
• Ability to administer intravenous therapies and transfusions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
