Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe and effective nursing care to medically ill pre‑ and post‑operative patients in an inpatient setting. The role involves applying professional knowledge, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high‑quality patient outcomes in accordance with HMG policies and Saudi health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive assigned patients and apply the nursing care process accordingli​e to approved policies.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Monitor patient status, report any deviations or abnormal findings promptly to the team leader and on‑duty doctor.
• Carry out doctors’ orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to their needs.
• Document assessment findings, interventions, and patient progress.
• Initiate emergency and resuscitative measures when required.
• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and required unit competencies.
• Demonstrate flexibility for pull‑out, floating, and other work‑need adjustments.
• Adhere to JCIA/CBAHI standards and HMG policies.
• When acting as shift in‑charge, provide clinical supervision, conduct rounds, report incidents, attend doctor’s rounds, present patient status, and attend departmental meetings and training.
• Perform nursing procedures as required and participate in person‑centered care initiatives.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
• Execute other tasks assigned by charge or head nurse within scope of practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent (or a 3‑year General Nursing Diploma).
• Minimum one‑year experience in a relevant inpatient area.
• Valid Saudi Council nursing license and license from country of origin.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
