Restaurant Manager – Fine Dining

About the role

The Independent Food Company is seeking a passionate Restaurant Manager (or Assistant Restaurant Manager) to lead one of its fine‑dining concepts in the UAE. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while driving operational efficiency and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, and motivate front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory, manage costs, and control P&L performance.
• Drive sales through up‑selling, customer engagement, and local marketing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, health & safety, and UAE regulations.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to align service delivery with menu and concept.
• Manage staff scheduling, performance reviews, and development plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in an upper‑casual or fine‑dining environment.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Hands‑on knowledge of restaurant financials, cost control, and team management.
• Positive, guest‑centric attitude with attention to detail.
