Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations of our restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas in Makkah. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring high standards of service and sanitation, and driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily restaurant, bar/lounge and room service operations.
• Assist with menu planning and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Support servers and hosts during peak periods to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Identify training needs, develop and implement staff development plans.
• Monitor staffing levels to meet operational and financial objectives.
• Enforce compliance with local liquor laws, food handling regulations and company policies.
• Lead the food and beverage team through coaching, performance management and role‑modeling.
• Continuously seek improvements in guest experience and employee engagement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, or a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to manage a team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and financial performance metrics.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with local liquor licensing regulations.
• Ability to follow and enforce food & beverage policies and procedures.
