Rigging Supervisor (Oil & Gas)

About the role

ABIS is looking for a Rigging Supervisor with experience in the oil and gas industry to oversee rigging operations on its project sites in Al Jubail. The supervisor plans, coordinates and supervises all rigging activities in line with safety standards and project requirements, ensuring rigging personnel work efficiently and safely while liaising with other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise rigging activities on oil and gas or relevant industrial sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Plan and coordinate rigging operations with project managers and site engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies and industry standards.
• Carry out safety inspections, risk assessments and toolbox talks related to rigging.
• Give technical guidance and training to rigging personnel.
• Maintain records of rigging activities, equipment inspections and personnel certifications.
• Identify and resolve issues or hazards during rigging operations promptly.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience as a Rigging Supervisor, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for rigging.
• Ability to work in challenging environments and under pressure.
• Relevant rigging and safety certifications preferred.
