Risk Manager

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join its Riyadh project team, focusing on rail and metro projects. The role involves establishing and maintaining robust risk management processes across multiple programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor risk issue and opportunity management processes and maintain a risk matrix.
• Identify, monitor and manage dependencies, inter‑program and external risks, and ensure they are recorded, evaluated and communicated.
• Implement the Risk Management Plan, Risk Log and associated governance, reviewing and updating them against program status reports.
• Provide accurate management information, drive delivery of projects, and ensure inter‑dependencies are understood and managed.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of risk management experience, including at least 3 years as a Risk Manager in construction/engineering.
• Specific experience in rail/metro projects.
• Graduate degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and management abilities.

Required skills

• Risk Management qualification or equivalent.
• Understanding of complex construction projects.
