Roads Engineer – Full-time (m/f)

About the role

ARX, a global network of engineering specialists, is expanding its presence in the Middle East and seeks a Roads Engineer for its Riyadh office. The role involves designing and overseeing road and highway projects for various infrastructure initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, and supervise the design of roads and highways for infrastructure projects.
• Perform and review road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, and pavement design.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate road systems into overall project designs.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
• Review technical deliverables prepared by engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a focus on roads and highways.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of road and highway systems, including geometric, traffic, grading, intersections, junctions, and pavement design.
