Sales & Business Development Manager – MEA

About the role

OQ Technology is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to lead commercial activities for its satellite‑based 5G IoT connectivity platform across the Middle East and Africa. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive the execution of the go‑to‑market strategy, build the sales organisation, and achieve ambitious revenue targets through 2026 and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and execute the company’s GTM strategy to generate revenue and profit growth.
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline that exceeds market growth expectations, focusing on the MEA region.
• Meet and surpass revenue and backlog objectives.
• Provide market intelligence, segment customers, and monitor competitor activity.
• Define strategic sales initiatives, generate leads, negotiate and close contracts.
• Forecast sales pipelines for existing and new products and services.
• Prepare client proposals, manage relationships with existing and prospective customers, and simplify complex deals.
• Lead new business development for MEA partners and other regions as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling satellite or mobile telecommunications solutions to M2M markets such as Oil & Gas, Utilities, Maritime, or Transport.
• Proven track record of developing new business across the Middle East.
• Strategic thinker with a hunter mentality and strong prospecting abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize challenges, and deliver results.
