Sales & Business Development Manager – MEA Region

About the role

OQ Technology is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to lead commercial activities for its satellite‑based 5G IoT connectivity platform across the Middle East and Africa. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape and execute the go‑to‑market strategy, build the sales organisation, and drive revenue growth toward the 2026 targets.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and implement the company’s GTM strategy to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on the MEA market, delivering growth above market rates.
• Conduct market intelligence, segment customers, and monitor competitor activity to inform sales planning.
• Generate leads, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with new and existing clients.
• Provide forecasting and pipeline reporting for existing products and new service ideas.
• Collaborate with business planning teams and support strategic initiatives for regional and global services.
• Report progress and results directly to the CEO.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience selling satellite or mobile telecommunications solutions to M2M markets such as Oil & Gas, Utilities, Maritime, or Transport.
• Proven track record of developing new business across the Middle East region.
• Strategic thinker with a hunter mentality and strong prospecting abilities.
