Sales & Business Development Officer

About the role

The Sales & Business Development Officer will drive new business and nurture existing client relationships for a maritime services firm in Jeddah. The role focuses on ship agency, logistics, customs clearance and cargo chartering activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers across the company’s maritime service portfolio.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high service standards.
• Prepare and analyse sales forecasts, monitor market trends and align offerings with client needs.
• Meet prospective and current clients, manage the sales pipeline and respond to inquiries.
• Negotiate contracts, prepare management reports and support continuous improvement of sales processes.

Required profile

• Saudi nationals only, with proven experience in the maritime industry.
• Strong new‑business development, customer‑service and communication abilities.
• Solid analytical and finance knowledge for data interpretation and pricing decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Business, International Shipping, Business, Finance, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate with diverse teams while upholding ethical and inclusive standards.
