Sales Manager – Jeddah Edition

About the role

The Sales Manager for The Jeddah EDITION will lead the hotel’s sales function, driving revenue through proactive prospecting, relationship building and effective turnover to the event management team. Reporting to senior management, the role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving personal and location sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across off‑property sales channels, ensuring coordinated and non‑duplicative efforts.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients through sales calls, entertainment events, FAM trips and trade shows.
• Participate in sales meetings, prepare proposals, draft contracts and manage customer correspondence to secure bookings.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and target customer profiles to optimise pricing and maximise revenue.
• Deliver consistent, high‑quality service throughout the customer journey, supporting the hotel’s loyalty and service standards.
• Provide accurate turnover information to the Event Management team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with at least 3 years of sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to build long‑term, value‑based customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of hospitality market dynamics and competitor landscape.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
