About the role
The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth and establish Faena The Red Sea’s presence in the global luxury travel market during the pre‑opening and launch phase. This role focuses on generating transient, corporate and group business while positioning the property as a premier ultra‑luxury destination.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted sales action plans for assigned territories, market segments, and accounts.
- Proactively solicit and generate new business opportunities across transient, leisure, corporate, entertainment, and group segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, preferred agencies, corporate travel buyers, family offices, concierge networks, and lifestyle partners.
- Represent Faena The Red Sea at international trade shows, roadshows, sales missions, networking events, and client activations.
- Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, and site inspections to secure new business and strengthen partnerships.
- Achieve or exceed individual monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Work closely with Revenue Management to understand market demand, pricing strategy, and pace reports to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, promotions, and lead‑generation initiatives that drive awareness and conversion.
- Maintain accurate account plans, activity reports, pipelines, and opportunities in Delphi / Salesforce CRM systems.
- Negotiate corporate and consortia agreements in line with hotel commercial strategy.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and changing travel patterns within assigned territories.
- Coordinate with Reservations and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client bookings, VIP arrivals, and group requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum 3–5 years of luxury hotel or resort sales experience in a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive role.
- Strong network within luxury travel trade, leisure agencies, GCC corporate market, or international source markets.
- Pre‑opening experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sales strategy, account management, contracting, and revenue fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and results‑driven mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Fluent English and Arabic required.
