Sales Representative – Modern Trade

About the role

The Modern Trade Sales Representative will drive Nestlé’s beverage portfolio across key modern trade accounts in Jeddah. Reporting to the Sales Section Head – MT, you will be responsible for achieving volume and value targets while ensuring product availability, visibility and promotional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee full product availability, including new product launches, across all assigned modern trade outlets.
• Prevent out‑of‑stock situations through effective replenishment and order management.
• Meet assigned sales targets for volume, value and distribution.
• Execute in‑store activities, planograms, promotions and visibility according to commercial guidelines.
• Collect purchase orders, upload them into the SAP system and follow up for timely processing.
• Monitor competitor actions such as pricing, promotions and new product introductions.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date customer database and accurate sales documentation.
• Prepare regular performance reports comparing sales versus targets and providing market feedback.
• Identify growth opportunities within modern trade accounts and drive on‑time payment collection.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, trade agreements and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in FMCG sales, preferably within modern trade.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and achieving targets.

Required skills

• SAP for order processing and reporting.
• Market insights and competitive analysis.
