Sales Specialist – Fresh

About the role

The Sales Specialist – Fresh will drive sales of the company’s fresh product portfolio, generate leads, engage prospective buyers and close deals. Acting as the first point of contact, the role contributes directly to achieving the organisation’s sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals and industry events.
• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations that highlight features, benefits and value propositions.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships to foster repeat business.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts and close sales to meet revenue goals.
• Process orders, handle inquiries and ensure timely delivery and post‑sale follow‑up.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide feedback to improve offerings.
• Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline reports and forecast performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 2–4 years of sales or business development experience.
• Ability to continuously update technical and soft skills relevant to the role.
• Proven problem‑solving capability and adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Experience in documenting processes and seeking automation opportunities.
