Sales Specialist – Government Relations (Automotive)

About the role

The Associate Officer, Sales Government Relations in Jeddah (KAEC) acts as the primary bridge between the automotive sales division and Saudi government entities. You will ensure smooth coordination of documentation, compliance, and vehicle registration processes, supporting both corporate and customer fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant ministries and agencies.
• Coordinate submission, tracking, and follow‑up of government documentation and compliance requirements.
• Manage vehicle registration, licensing, and renewal for corporate and customer fleets.
• Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams to guarantee regulatory alignment.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to internal stakeholders.
• Prepare regular reports on application statuses, approvals, and government feedback.
• Support senior management in negotiations, meetings, and presentations with government officials.
• Implement process improvements to streamline government relations and sales administration workflows.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in government relations, sales administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience coordinating with Saudi government bodies on documentation and compliance.
• Hands‑on experience in automotive sales administration and vehicle registration/licensing.
• Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Established network of contacts within relevant government agencies (preferred).
