Security Design & Implementation Expert

About the role

The Security Design & Implementation Expert will lead the creation and upkeep of specialised cybersecurity and network security architectures. This role ensures that infrastructure, systems and data are protected against evolving cyber threats while complying with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design network security frameworks and device‑level security guidelines for mission‑critical and business‑critical assets.
• Develop and maintain specialised network and cybersecurity architecture to guarantee resilience.
• Support the design, deployment and continuous improvement of a Mission‑Critical Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Coordinate vendor activities for SOC deployment and security system upgrades.
• Implement and monitor preventative solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems and antivirus tools.
• Integrate advanced threat detection tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS) for real‑time monitoring.
• Develop vulnerability assessment plans and enhance penetration‑testing methodologies.
• Create and maintain incident‑response playbooks and communication protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Security, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, SOC implementation or related roles.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
