Security Design & Implementation Senior Expert

About the role

The Security Design & Implementation Senior Expert will lead the creation, deployment, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity solutions across Specialized’s networks, systems, applications, and devices. This senior position provides advanced technical expertise to protect critical assets and ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enhance network security frameworks aligned with corporate cybersecurity strategy.
• Define device‑level security standards, including access controls, encryption, and authentication protocols for mission‑critical environments.
• Build and evolve a Mission‑Critical Security Operations Center (SOC) to improve threat detection, incident response, and mitigation.
• Coordinate with vendors on SOC deployment, security solutions, and system upgrades.
• Evaluate, integrate, and optimize firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM, EDR, and other security technologies.
• Lead vulnerability assessments, prioritize remediation, and improve penetration‑testing methodologies.
• Develop and maintain incident‑response playbooks and communication protocols.
• Provide technical recommendations and security insights to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, SOC operations, and vulnerability management.
• Fluent English communication skills.
