Security Operations Expert

About the role

The Security Operations Expert will lead and support cybersecurity operations across Specialized’s networks, systems, applications, and mission‑critical environments. You will ensure effective threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation to protect the organization’s assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor networks, applications, systems, and integration points to identify and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implement and maintain security controls in line with frameworks, regulations, and approved standards.
• Execute SOC activities including threat detection, incident triage, response coordination, and resolution.
• Analyze incidents, attack patterns, and threat trends to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct security, vulnerability, and penetration assessments across mission‑critical assets and support remediation.
• Coordinate vulnerability management, patch deployment, system hardening, and security configuration reviews.
• Maintain documentation and evidence for audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Apply threat intelligence and emerging indicators to enhance monitoring and protection capabilities.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and prepare incident reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, System Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations or SOC environments.
