Security Operations & Monitoring Engineer

About the role

CCDS is looking for a Security Operations & Monitoring Engineer for a long-term, full-time, onsite assignment in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The engineer provides continuous monitoring and security-event analysis across encryption, KMS, HSM, database security and related infrastructure, working closely with the SOC/SIEM and technical teams to identify suspicious activity, triage events, support incident response and ensure timely escalation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cybersecurity systems and infrastructure, including encryption, KMS, HSM and database security events.
• Analyze system, security, audit and application logs, and monitor alerts through SIEM/SOC platforms.
• Investigate and triage security events, correlate alerts from multiple sources and escalate critical or suspicious activity.
• Support incident-response investigations and evidence collection, and coordinate with engineering teams during incidents.
• Help tune monitoring rules and alert thresholds, and prepare operational, security and incident reports.
• Maintain incident records, monitoring procedures and operational documentation, and take part in shifts, maintenance and on-call duties when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in SOC, SIEM, security monitoring, incident triage or cybersecurity operations.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and security monitoring platforms, and experience integrating security solutions with central SOC/SIEM platforms.
• Full-time onsite availability in Dammam.
• CompTIA Security+ certification; CompTIA CySA+, Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk Certified Cybersecurity Defense Analyst or equivalent SIEM/SOC certification preferred.
