Security & Safety Manager (Saudi Nationality)

About the role

The Security & Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing all security, loss‑prevention and safety functions at the Jabal Omar Marriott Hotel in Makkah. The role ensures protection of guests, employees and property while maintaining compliance with local laws and Marriott standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily security and loss‑prevention operations, including patrols, CCTV monitoring and key‑control procedures.
• Develop, implement and audit fire‑prevention programs and emergency‑preparedness plans.
• Conduct quarterly hazard and risk assessments and OSHA safety audits.
• Create detailed shutdown procedures and ensure all areas are secured as required.
• Handle guest and employee incidents, complaints, investigations and dispute resolution.
• Maintain logs, certifications and documentation required by law and standard operating procedures.
• Train staff on emergency response, safety procedures and accident prevention.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of security/loss‑prevention experience, or a 2‑year degree in Criminal Justice with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Saudi nationality as required by local regulations.
• Strong knowledge of local safety laws, fire codes and loss‑prevention best practices.
• Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
