Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead our accounts payable function, ensuring timely processing of supplier invoices, accurate payments, and robust reconciliation. The role works closely with procurement, operations and finance teams to maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and process supplier invoices, matching them with purchase orders, goods received notes and supporting documents.
• Maintain vendor master data, respond to supplier inquiries and reconcile vendor statements.
• Prepare payment schedules, obtain approvals and execute payments via bank transfers, cheques or other approved methods.
• Perform monthly accounts payable reconciliations and prepare aging and liability reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and assist with audit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting procedures and tax regulations.
• Assist with accruals, provisions and coordinate with other departments to resolve invoice issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
