Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle for our property management portfolio in Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with property managers and client teams to deliver accurate financial information to landlords while ensuring compliance with ZATCA, IFRS and Savills policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger, post journal entries and oversee month‑end and year‑end closing for assigned properties.
• Prepare and issue rent and service charge invoices in line with lease terms and ZATCA e‑invoicing requirements.
• Monitor accounts receivable, produce aged debt reports, allocate receipts and flag arrears for escalation.
• Process accounts payable, verify supplier invoices against contracts, purchase orders and approved budgets.
• Perform bank, client and inter‑company reconciliations, ensuring trust accounting standards are met.
• Support service charge accounting, including budget uploads, expense tracking, accruals and year‑end reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly client financial reports, income statements, variance analysis and cash‑flow summaries.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, withholding tax and Zakat, and assist internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in real‑estate or property management within KSA or the GCC.
• Strong analytical mindset, high accuracy and ability to meet tight month‑end deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with landlords, auditors and non‑financial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP or property‑management systems such as Yardi, Oracle or SAP.
• Working knowledge of KSA VAT, ZATCA e‑invoicing and IFRS.
