Senior Advisor – Strategy & Portfolio Management

About the role

The Senior Advisor will translate corporate strategy into actionable objectives, portfolios and KPI targets across NHCI. This role provides governance, strategic, and operational guidance to ensure alignment, compliance and disciplined execution across multiple functions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on translating corporate strategy into organizational objectives, portfolios and KPI targets.
• Recommend governance frameworks, policies and decision‑rights structures to strengthen accountability and regulatory compliance.
• Provide strategic guidance on product strategy, reviewing value propositions, user journeys and business workflows.
• Guide portfolio governance, prioritisation, feasibility assessment and inter‑dependency management.
• Review portfolio intake, business case evaluations and financial impact before roadmap inclusion.
• Support prototype and concept validation through testing approaches and stakeholder feedback mechanisms.
• Advise marketing strategy, ensuring brand consistency, ROI objectives and coordination with Institutional Marketing Communications.
• Recommend commercial strategy targets, channel models, partner engagement and sales governance.
• Monitor project delivery performance, reviewing scope, timelines, RAID registers and corrective actions.
• Advise operational performance management, including SLA, incident handling and system stability targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic advisory and corporate governance.
• Strong background in portfolio and product strategy across digital, data and cybersecurity domains.
• Demonstrated ability to align marketing, commercial and operational initiatives with corporate objectives.
• Excellent analytical skills for financial impact assessment, risk evaluation and benefits realisation.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and external partners in regulated environments.
