Senior Appian Developer – Process & Workflow

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Appian Developer specialized in process and workflow to design and build complex process models, case management flows, and business rules for a leading Saudi bank. The role focuses on performance, maintainability, and auditability and is based onsite in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Build complex process models including subprocesses, parallel flows, escalations, timers, exception handling and multi‑level approvals.
• Implement case management for banking operations such as account opening, credit approvals, disputes, KYC refresh and complaints.
• Model business rules and decisions using expression rules and decision tables.
• Design task routing, SLAs, delegation and maker‑checker controls aligned with segregation‑of‑duties policies.
• Optimize process performance, implement audit trails and support QA/UAT defect resolution.

Required profile

• 10+ years total experience with at least 6 years hands‑on Appian development.
• Appian Certified Senior Developer (mandatory).
• Notice period of 1 month or immediate availability preferred.

Required skills

• Expertise in Appian process modeling, process variables, smart services and process reports.
• Strong expression rule, query and CDT/record type design skills.
• Experience with Appian Process HQ / process mining or workflow analytics.
• Solid SQL skills and understanding of transaction and concurrency handling.
• Understanding of BPMN and banking operational workflows.
