IT Technician – Construction Site Support (Saudi National)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on IT Technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure across our corporate offices and active construction sites. The role requires a practical mindset, the ability to work in rugged field environments and a focus on delivering reliable connectivity and security.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain temporary and permanent IT setups for construction site offices, including site trailers, field networks and mobile connectivity solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripheral issues for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, plotters and printers across all departments.
• Install, configure and maintain CCTV and IP surveillance systems to ensure continuous site perimeter visibility.
• Manage LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi deployment, secure VPN tunnels and ensure reliable data communication between remote sites and headquarters.
• Provide help‑desk support to project managers, site engineers, administrative staff and executives.
• Maintain accurate inventories of IT assets, licenses and perform routine data backups and basic cybersecurity checks.
• Coordinate with ISPs, hardware vendors and contractors for internet installations and equipment repairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of professional IT support and infrastructure experience, preferably in construction or engineering environments.
• Mandatory proven experience working in construction site offices.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on knowledge of networking fundamentals: routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Experience with CCTV, IP surveillance systems and VPN configuration.
• Proficiency in LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi deployment in field environments.
• Hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers.
