Senior Architect – Major Building Project in Riyadh

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead and coordinate architectural activities for a major building construction project in Riyadh. The role ensures that all architectural works are executed according to approved designs, specifications, quality standards and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings and technical submissions.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, interior design and other disciplines.
• Monitor on‑site architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Review and coordinate material submittals, samples, mock‑ups and method statements.
• Identify design conflicts, technical issues and construction constraints and propose solutions.
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on architectural quality and workmanship.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the architectural team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in architectural design and construction.
• Experience on mega‑scale building projects, preferably 5‑star hotels, high‑rise or mixed‑use developments.
• Proven track record working with reputable main contractors on major construction projects.
