Senior Auditor

About the role

Meras CPA is a firm offering accounting, auditing and financial consulting services to companies of all sizes and industries. It is hiring a full-time on-site Senior Auditor in Riyadh who will lead and execute audit engagements from planning through reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit engagements, from planning through reporting
• Review financial records and assess internal controls
• Perform risk assessments and prepare detailed audit reports
• Mentor junior staff and take part in developing audit programs
• Recommend improvements to internal controls and processes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• More than 4 years of post-qualification experience in auditing with accounting or audit firms
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English

Required skills

• International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and IFRS / SOCPA
• Analytical skills and accurate interpretation of financial data
• Planning, organization and time management
• Preparing and drafting professional reports
• Auditing and accounting software
• Attention to detail and accuracy
