Senior Business Analyst

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst will lead the analysis and design of business processes, systems, and strategies to improve efficiency across the organization. Working closely with stakeholders, you will gather requirements, create functional specifications, and ensure solutions align with strategic goals. The role also includes mentoring junior analysts and promoting best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis of existing processes, develop detailed process flows, business requirements, and functional specifications.
• Conduct gap analyses, benchmark research, and evaluate strategic options to recommend improvements.
• Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and cross‑functional collaboration to capture requirements.
• Create BRDs, user stories, workflow diagrams, and manage project scope to prevent scope creep.
• Review prototypes, coordinate feedback, monitor development progress, and support UAT.
• Provide project management support, including plans, timelines, status reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor junior analysts, promote best practices, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Identify and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives in analysis processes and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field; Saudi nationality required.
• Proven experience leading business analysis on large, complex projects across multiple industries, with familiarity in Agile environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP or Certified Scrum Master are preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Business process modeling (BPMN, UML) using tools like Visio.
• Requirements management with Jira and Confluence.
• Data analysis and reporting using Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Technical documentation including use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
