Senior Business Analyst

About the role

InnovationTeam is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join its team in Riyadh. The role acts as the bridge between KSA-based clients, product leads and offshore engineering teams, turning complex business visions into precise technical specifications. The ideal candidate is a native Arabic speaker who understands the Saudi market and can work through the full software development life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to extract, challenge and refine business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Produce developer-ready documentation such as BRDs, SRS and detailed User Stories with acceptance criteria (Gherkin style preferred).
• Model systems and processes using BPMN 2.0, flowcharts, state diagrams, sequence diagrams, ERDs and integration mappings.
• Own and maintain the product backlog in Jira or Azure DevOps, keeping items prioritized, estimated and ready.
• Work with QA teams on test cases and lead User Acceptance Testing cycles with clients.
• Ensure system logic and user flows are culturally and linguistically adapted to the KSA market.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, with a track record in mobile and web product development.
• Native Arabic speaker with excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to explain complex technical logic to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with KSA digital transformation trends and regulations is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Business analysis methodologies, requirement elicitation and stakeholder management.
• Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence and MS Visio (or similar).
• SDLC and Scrum agile frameworks.
• Databases and SQL querying.
• BI reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Pega knowledge is a plus.
