Senior Business Process Excellence Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Process Excellence Specialist to lead enterprise‑wide process improvement initiatives within the financial services sector. The role will shape operating models, governance frameworks and digital automation across business and technology functions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct As‑Is assessments and design To‑Be processes, creating detailed improvement roadmaps.
• Develop end‑to‑end process architecture, including hierarchies, landscapes and cross‑functional dependencies.
• Design and implement process governance frameworks covering ownership, accountability and decision rights.
• Build Target Operating Models that define processes, people, technology and operating responsibilities.
• Drive standardisation, simplification, optimisation and continuous improvement of core processes.
• Identify and champion opportunities for digitalisation, workflow automation and technology enablement.
• Define KPIs, SLAs and performance measurement structures to monitor outcomes.
• Facilitate cross‑functional workshops and translate business requirements into implementable solutions.
• Support transformation initiatives from assessment through to implementation.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience in Business Process Management, Operational Excellence or Business Transformation, preferably in banking, wealth or asset management.
• Proven hands‑on expertise in BPM, process architecture, process optimisation and Target Operating Model design.
• Strong background in process governance, standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Experience with automation, digitalisation and workflow optimisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.
• Lean Six Sigma, BPM, CBPP or similar certification is an advantage.
